Our Process
Step 1
Get in touch with us by scheduling an appointment through the website or contacting us by phone at 714-273-9151. We do our best to call you back within one business day.
Step 2
During your call we can discuss your preferences, fee, and therapist. Feel free to browse our staff page to learn more about our psychotherapists and their approaches.
Step 3
We will have your therapist call you to schedule your first appointment.
Step 4
During the first appointment, you can confidentially share as much or as little information as you feel comfortable sharing. It is a time for you and the therapist to get to know each other. The therapist will open the conversation to your present concerns and goals. You are encouraged to ask questions and can talk about your background, childhood and any medical issues.
Step 5
If at anytime you desire to consult another therapist, our clinical director Dr. Jacqueline Gattis will assist you in finding a better match.

I specialize in helping people gain a profound understanding and acceptance of themselves. I also focus on addressing the root of people’s problems and helping them recognize new perspectives. For over 20 years, I have helped people free themselves from trauma, negative relational patterns, distorted beliefs and damaging behaviors. Through the experience of the therapeutic relationship built upon kindness and compassion, you will experience a greater capacity for self acceptance, clarity, and relational satisfaction.

I value creating space where you can show up how ever you need to that day, a place to unwind, and be unfiltered, a place just for you. I hope to come along side of you on your journey towards self compassion and understanding, despite the struggle you may have experienced or are currently experiencing. I enjoy working with a large range of individuals, from preteens to adults as well as individuals that struggle in their own relationships or have been on the receiving end of chaotic ones. I also work with individuals struggling with codependency, insecurity, spiritual issues, life transitions, and the LGBTQ populations, all while developing new perspectives that help us be the selves we envision.

To be human is to carry a story. These stories are woven together by our joys, desires, dreams, and pains. For some, you have lost touch with your joy, desires, dreams, or your pain can feel like the most real thing about you. I find that our struggles and pain are typically layered and complex, interwoven within our experiences and our relationships. Together, we spend the time getting to know these layers and explore your experiences and story deeply, better understanding who you are and why while gaining new perspective and choices.

I focus on creating a safe and supportive environment for individuals to explore their emotions, fears, and hopes. If you’re feeling stuck, questioning your feelings or behaviors, or struggling with relationships, I’m here to provide a holding space. I offer curiosity to help process past trauma and navigate the challenges of life’s aftermath. I attempt to recognize the patterns that may no longer serve others and provide space for creative expression, especially through art, when words aren’t enough. Therapy can be vulnerable and challenging, but it’s also an opportunity for renewal, self-discovery, and acceptance. Please know that I look forward to speaking with you and getting started on a dangerous, exciting, and worthwhile journey of the self.
